A Word from our Leaders

[Mat 19:21 KJV]
Have you ever wondered what is the purpose in life. Or more specifically, what God’s purpose s for you?
Several people approached Jesus wondering the same thing. Several times Jesus said to the disciples that they should ‘come and follow me’. He also said this to a rich young ruler. He promised the young man that if he would forsake the riches he had in this world, he would receive treasures in
heaven.
When we finally come face to face with Jesus and his call ‘come and follow me’ we have a decision to
make. It’s a great invitation. The greatest in fact. If we will say ‘yes’ and begin the journey to follow Jesus, everything changes. If we surrender our life to God and begin to follow Jesus’ teachings and commands, our whole world view improves. We begin to see things the way our infinitely loving God sees them. We see ourselves, others and God through the lens of heaven’s reality- we see the truth.
As we begin this new year, say ‘yes’ to God!
